Training On Demand
A new training element has been added to our website. Each month, instructor guides for company level trainings will be availible. Focusing on many different subjects, these trainings will give you a starting point for your companies daily training. All you have to do is complete the training roster and submit it! FDSOA ISO Cert Renewal
For many of you, your Incident Safety Officer Certification will soon require renewal. Although this is a time consuming process, several officers before you have created a template that will ease the burden. Obtain a copy of your training records during your certification period and contact us here at HCTC for the template to follow

COLORADO STATE WRITTEN EXAMS
To take a written exam for a CDFS certificate, you have two options.
- Complete a bubble sheet to request any test at ANY testing location posted on the CDFS website 30 days in advance of the test date. Show up at that testing location, early, and with identification (drivers license).
- Complete a bubble sheet to request a test at HCTC and submit it to office manager before the deadline listed below.
Registration deadline dates are:
February 28th to test on March 25thMarch 28th to test on April 16th
April 25th to test on May 22nd
May 24 to test on June 19th
June 27th to test on July 23rd
July 31st to test on August 27th
August 29th to test on September 16th
October 2nd to test on October 29th
October 31st to test on November 19th
November 25th to test on December 17th
THINGS TO REMEMBER!
- Prepare for your test.
- Bring your driver’s license.
- If you choose to test while on duty and are called to respond to an incident, you will lose the opportunity to complete the test. Consider taking tests off duty or out of service.
- The testing process will start on time, with no exceptions. Be early.
- We will contact you with test results the day we receive them.
- These test dates are open to regional candidates.
- Candidate registration will be confirmed by email.
